January meeting started at 7:10pm and was held at the Orleans Legion on January 6th. There were 5 Members and 5 officers present
The Treasurer & Secretary reports were read and excepted.
Harley Raffle
Decided to meet at the VFW at 1 to start set up. All members able to help, be come then. Looks like we are all set on all the supplies needed. Phil might have personal event on Saturday that might interfere with HR, asked Kevin Jones to stand in for him if he is not available. We have 3 tickets remaining– Let Gab know if you sell one. Casey has 1 and Gab has 2.
Toy Run
Phil Scott is “penciled in” as out guest speaker for this years event. Bottomless Pit confirmed he will send check to Shriners for $200.00
Scholarships
Where sent out in the first week of January and emailed to Green Mountain Tech Center and Lake Region per their requests.
Kingdom Thunder
Discussion was had and it was determined no one has enough time to spear head the event. Will try for a weekend away as a group instead. We agreed if someone outside the group wanted to run it we would support.
Miscellaneous
Joe has done some research on on-line tracking for memberships, accounting, raffles ect. Decided to look more into the membership tracking to help with change of roles.
Discussion was had on possibly using some of our funds to help pay of Group trip to Maine in July. Gab will do some research on cost of hotels and Joe will announce possibility of event ask members to let us know who would be interested. Will discuss more at February meeting.
Clarence will check with H&R Block about limitations to bank account balances when he gives them info on last years bike winner.
