Thanks to all who attended and supported the 31st Annual Toy Run for the kids at Shriners Hospitals for Children.

UMV’s 31st Annual Toy Run
- Who: United Motorcyclists of Vermont
- What: 31st Annual Toy Run
- When: Saturday, August 12, 2017 (always the 2nd Saturday of August…)
- Where: Staging at the Blue Cross parking lot in Berlin, VT starting at around 9:00 am. We leave for the State House at noon – sharp.
- Expected to attend:
- Erin Connor – Miss Vermont, 2017 and hopefully Miss America, she sure should be…
- Governor Phil Scott – Nope.
- Hundreds of motorcyclists – confirmed
- Essex, VT – Green Mountain HD leaves at 9:00. [map]
- Morrisville, VT – Maplefield’s leaves at 8:30 and meets with the group in Waterbury. [map]
- Middlebury, VT – McDonalds leaves at 9:30. [map] There is no leader for this group, let us know if you want to
- Waterbury, VT – self storage on Rt 2 north of the village leaves at 9:30-ish. Group from Morrisville will join up here and then ride to Berlin for staging.[map – approx.]
- Newport, VT – Gardner Park leaves at 8:00 and heads to St. Johnsbury. [map]
- St. Johnsbury, VT – new location at Maplefields / Irving. Group from Newport will ride here and then all head to Berlin leaving around 9:30. [map]
So get off your collective asses, join UMV, come to meetings, be a politically-active motorcyclist and an active member… Help us plan and organize this event to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Message from Jason our VP: The 31st annual toy run for Shriners is coming up on August 12 2017 in Montpelier vt. I will be leaving Gardner park in Newport with a police escort at 8:00 taking rte. 5 to St. Johnsbury and stopping at Maplefields on rte 2. We will be leaving there at 9:30 with another police escort down rte. 2 to rte. 14 to the Blue Cross Blue Shield parking lot in Berlin vt.
Let’s make this the biggest year ever! Michelle Barton will be at bcbs again this year cooking up some awesome food so don’t eat a huge breakfast! You can bring a wrapped toy to donate but the Shriners really could use monetary donations, so bring a check if you would rather. The Shriners also take tabs off cans to recycle into money for them.
