You Could Win This Bike…
The bike is a 2014 FXDB Street Bob from Green Mountain Harley Davidson in Essex, Vermont. There are only 175 tickets at $125. Cruise Control is the band, a really great band. Dinner is from Texas Roadhouse in Williston, VT. Each ticket includes dinner for 2, the dance and a chance to win a Harley.
The Annual UMV Harley Raffle will be held at the Hyde Park VFW on Saturday, January 10, 2015. Tickets will go on sale sometime during the summer of 2014. If you want a ticket, don’t screw around. Every year we sell out and every year many are disappointed. If you tell someone from UMV you want a ticket, give them the money and get it. If you blow them off, the ticket goes to someone else. Happens every year.
Donnie Henn did ask at the 2014 raffle if everyone would be pay $125 for a ticket if the prize was a bigger bike. The answer was YES. We’ll see how that turns out. If you’d like to be in on the decisions, planning and helping out – join UMV and come to our monthly meetings.
So, the event will be the second Saturday in January, it is always the second Saturday in January. Tickets will be $100 or more if we go with a bigger bike. There will be a dinner and a live band. We hope to have Nomad back as those guys really rocked.
Your ticket admits 2 to the dinner/drawing/dance. You must be 21 or older to stay after 8:00 PM. The doors open for ticket holders at 4:00. Non-tickets holders can show up and have dinner, probably for $25. You can show up after the drawing and get in for the live band for probably $10. Everything is subject to change.
