UMV Annual Toy Run to Benefit Shriners' Hospitals for Children

Note: the staging area location has changed from the airport to the Blue Cross Blue Shield parking lot. Everyone needs to meet at the BCBS [ map ] parking lot by 11:00 am for staging. We will leave promptly at noon for the ride/parade to the Statehouse in Montpelier.

Below is the list of starting locations that I know of. If you know of any more or have additional information, let me know and I'll post it here.

- Brattleboro - McDonalds at 8:30 with gas stop exit 3 I89 contact Monadnock HOG for more info.
Bring a new unwrapped toy to donate, stuffed animals must be wrapped in plastic. Food will be
available at the staging area. The Shriners will have a limited number of pins to give away
at the Statehouse, make sure you get one if you want one, because they go fast.
UMV will be selling event t-shirts at the staging area and at the Statehouse, we will also have membership applications, pins and patches. Please help us in fighting for our rights as motorcyclists by purchasing our products.
After The Toy Run
There is no official UMV event after the Toy Tun, but several area businesses and organizations do something. If you have any information on after the Toy Run events, please let me know and I'll post the info here.
- The Thrush Tavern - for many years the Thrush Tavern has been providing free food for participants after the Toy Run.
- Charlie O's and Perfect Pie - might be doing something, I don't have any more details but will gladly post them if and when I get them.
- 1st Annual Veteran's Drive - at The Music Club in Williamstown after the Toy Run, live bands (including Mirage, a UMV favorite) contests, blessing of the bikes, DJ, stock car, Miss Vermont, a bounce house for kids, loud pipes, burnout, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken BBQ and more. [ map ]
Help us spread the word about the Toy Run, download, print and distribute our flyer and newspaper ad, send this page to your friends and bug them until they sweat they are coming.
